Why do you work out?

Me:
I love the way that I feel when I'm done (even though I have to talk myself into actually doing it),
I want to look nice in just jeans and a sweater again,
to get my thighs to stop to rubbing together and making my shorts slowly inch up when I'm walking.

Except for.. I can't dare to wear shorts right now, coz of thunder thighs.
In addition, look prettIER on the D-day. (Thx to MFP buddies, they make me love myself, every moment)0 -
So that I can deal with stress better. There's something about getting all my frustration/energy out in a class full of other women, hoopin', hollerin', and "kickin' butt", that helps me relieve tension from the day without being left to my own thoughts (the tension tends to build up again when I do that). Many a fights have been avoided or lessened because I simply say, "Let's talk about this after my class".0

In the beginning...I had to FORCE myself...:noway:
Now, I do my cardio video's first thing in the morning because I WANT TOO! Amazing, huh?
Now, I really ENJOY our afternoon power walk (3 miles).:drinker: Talk about a stress reliever!
I love the way I feel after exercise. :drinker:0 -
To releave stress and feel better, wash out all the yucky toxins from the day to day grind.0

congrats on the smoke free. So, how does your food actually taste now???0 -
For me it is a means to and end.......of being FAT!!!! I don't enjoy it at all. I wish I did. Every now and then I enjoy the weather, but I would much rather be working in my garden or doing another hobby. There's just always other things that I feel I need to do and exercising takes up so much time. Is that just crazy?0

I like the feeling of accomplishment. The confirmation that I CAN do it. The fact I can have 300 more calories to eat that day. Finally the movement of the scale and my lovely ticker (this week it is lovely)

To eat Ice cream, and bacon. I love Ice cream and bacon. Maybe that's why my but is so big.
I must exercise to be healthy and look good and not be squishy.0 -

You know that I did not see a huge difference in the taste of food, but I can SMELL so much better. Even my husband has commented on that because I can smell even the strangest things now. I can even tell what him or my daughter have eaten or where they have been.....it's really weird! LOL And he smokes and I swear sometimes he smells like he has actually eaten a pack of cigs rather than smoking them because the smell is so strong.0
