Anytime Fitness vs Snap Fitness

I’m debating joining a gym over the summer when I have more free time. I have both an Anytime Fitness and a Snap Fitness close to my home and they sound very convenient. Unfortunately the websites don’t list much for pricing/membership fees.

Does anyone have any feed back about which might be a better bang for my buck or about the facilities/company itself?

Thanks!

I can't give much input, but if you stop by both of them, you can have a tour and see for yourself. You can get a feel for which you like best. You could always call them, but I like the tour idea.

I belong to an Anytime Fitness and love it. I know they are franchised, but I also use a web site that you get access to for free - Anytime Health - and it seems that people really like their clubs also. I had a friend who belonged to Snap and she liked it, but never went there with her. I think they are very similar.

My favorite thing about Anytime Fitness was that I never felt out of place, was never intimidated when I walked through the doors. I have lost a littel over 130 pounds since I joined, so you can imagine, I wasn't the smallest girl in the place :) I have been a member since September of 2009 and can't imagine joining anywhere else. Also, I'm pretty sure Anytime will give you a free 7 day pass if you ask...to see if you like it. At least the one I belong to will.
