Earthquake in Missouri!

We had an 4.2 mag earthquake here in Missouri last night! Lasted about 5-10 seconds. I remember it waking me up & realizing what it was, but then forgot about it until I got online today. I live in Jefferson County. Anyone else in Missouri or Illinois feel it?

    Im in KC and didnt feel anything. Im not sure I wouldve though over here?

    I was born and raised in Missouri and next felt an earthquake until after I had moved to Washington State.. We're supposed to have tornados back there not earthquakes. What's up with that!?

    We live in California, but my husband is from MO and he says he used to feel them a lot. Y'all are on a pretty major fault line, it just is not as active as the ones out here.

    I'm curious, what area of the state is your husband from. I lived in the northern part of Missouri, right up by the Iowa line, and just don't remember ever feeling one or hearing about one.
