I saw a post about not drinking drinks with caffeine. I am trying to loose weight and I drink about 3-5 cups of coffee through out the day. I use sweet n low and powder creamer. Is this slowing down my weight loss?

No. Caffeine, if anything, should speed up weight loss since it's a stimulant.
It's also necessary for life - at least for my life.
Just make sure you count those calories in the creamer.0 -
There is a lot of controversy with caffeine and dieting...
PROS
As Mary said, many people actually take stready streams of caffieine via diet pills, as it keeps the metabolism revved up.
I also find that if I need a "pick me up" that coffee does it for me!
CONS
Some believe that caff is a "hunger driver" because as you come down from the caff high, your body releases insulin, and then starts craving food (generally sugary food).
I also read in a Yahoo article too much caff (more than 6 cups of coffee in a day) can cause heart trouble - irregular beats, fluttering, arthymias, etc.
What has worked for me, is to have my morning coffee, then drink green tea with caff until around 2:00, at which time I take a chromium supplement (which releaves cravings) and then I have my protein rich dinner.
I think the best solution is to find what works for you!
Good luck!
