Grrrrr... Tennis Elbow - Again!

Dammit, tennis elbow. Again! Last time I got it I kept climbing and I was in pain for a year. So I'm not climbing, and my upper body muscles are already wasting away.

Question: anyone else dealing with this affliction? Are there any arm/shoulder exercises that can be done with free weights that won't irritate the elbow and prevent it from healing? I don't belong to a gym to have access to machines that offer resistance without having to grip something with my hands. I'm probably looking at a few more weeks before I can climb again.

Any ideas would be helpful. I know I have to let it heal, I just can't stand the consequences of doing zero to work anything from my abs up for so long.

I'm bumping this because I want to see an answer too. I've got the same affliction from a work-related movement, and it's been haunting me for over a year.
