Lightly Active vs. Active for me?

Since joining I've had my activity level set to Lightly Active but now I'm thinking maybe it should be set to Active. For the month I'm working at a day-care center and am pretty much always on my feet walking around, bending over, squatting, etc. I try to workout everyday either doing 30 Day Shred, walking, tennis, jogging, etc.

When I started MFP I lost 6 lbs very quickly but now my weight loss has really slowed down. Do you think it could be because I'm not getting enough calories? My food diary is public so feel free to take a look. I typically do not eat my exercise calories back, but sometimes I do eat 1/2 back.

Advice?

Just a quick look at your diary for today, but your sodium count is way too high. When dieting, you may find that consuming too much sodium causes you to retain water weight.

    Hi

It is a difficult one to judge but you could try upping it for a week or two and see how you go. Alternatively you could try eating most of your exercise calories each day and see if that helps. It could very well be because you are not getting enough calories. I stop losing weight if I don't eat enough. I am currently on 1850 calories a day and I eat my exercise calories too. I seem to be losing about 1lb a week which is what I am aiming for. If I eat less I am to tired to do much and hungry all the time and I just don't lose weight. My diary is open if you wish to look at it (although today is not a typical day!)

Your weight loss will slow down after the initial few weeks anyway. A healthy weight loss is half to 1lb a week, unless you have a lot to lose. Slow and steady wins the race, as they say. Keep going and I'm sure you'll get there

If you were active your heart rate would be up during the day. I look after my kid, work at home and do the housework and consider myself sedentary. LA would probably be more like your day.

Yes, your sodium was rather high on a couple of days but the other days seem fine. If you weighed in just after those high-sodium days you would have water retention as burnguru25 says.
