I have a question? How meny days should you work out in a week?
I usually do 5/6 days a week but this week am going for 7 days and would love to start doing 7 days a week, but I get bored and have to take a day off. What would be the best results to see the pounds shed off?

I would out 7 days a week, but technically I have a rest day, Friday. Fridays I only walk up 40 flights of stairs and go on a small walk during lunch.0

I usually do 6 days, but in the last few weeks I cut it to 5 days a week. I have heard that you have to give your body at least 1 day to rest. In my opinion 5/6 days working out is good.0

I do 6 days a week. I would love to do 7, but everytime I try I end up really sick and am out for a week. So I stick to 60

I would recommend at least one day of rest/stretch. Without proper rest your body can't heal, repair, and recover for the next workout increasing the potential for injury and/or burnout. I know I love my one rest day. Any more than that and I feel like I am slacking off.0

Six days a week is perfect. One day off to let your body rest and recover is very beneficial. For best result to see the pounds shred off, exercise up to an hour a day. Do 2-3 days of strength training and 2-3 days of cardio. Stick to an excellent diet, but go ahead and splurge now and then (not more than once a week).0

I do 5 days. I beleive 5 or 6 is best as you need recover time, but you can workout all 7 days, just don't do the same workouts back to back, your body needs time to recover.0

I do 4 workouts at the gym with friends. The other three days are rest days or "fun" workouts. Playing basketball, practicing baseball with the kids, etc. are not really workouts but I am active nonetheless.0

i believe its dependent on how you work out. muscles need a day to recover at minimum depending on how hard you work them. so if you're working different groups each day there's nothing wrong with a 7 day workout, but if its the same ones you may end up hurting yourself0

Thank you all, I think am just going to stick on what am doing now, but just bump up my time at the gym.0
