I went to freedieting.com to calculate my daily calories. I punched in all the info including working out everyday which is what I do, My quiestion is this. For fat loss I get quite a bit of calories each day, are those calories allotted to me include the calories I burn during working out? Or do I still eat the allotted amount AND eat back my exercise calories.

The calories calculated on that site take in account your exercise. If you take out the exercise, the values change. Do not eat back exercise calories using this method.

hi tricia i am no doctor or fitness health expert or anything but i was told that the calories you burn from exercise you are allowed to eat. actually you have to eat them b/c if you dont then your body goes into starvation mode and you will hold on to fat instead of burn it off. it is confusing but i am a believer. i work out six days a week at least three hours and i have on average at least 1200 calories burned that i must eat on top of my normal 1600, seems like a lot of eating but on the days i want to dine out or i want to have cookies (my desert of choice) i know that i will be able to with 1200 extra calories on hand. and then keep in mind that you want to use those extra calories on mostly items that will build lean muscle which helps burn fat even when the body is at rest. hope that helps. feel free to add me as a friend if you want.

So I burn an average of 550-700 calories a day working out. Freedieting.com gives me upwards toward 1764 on one day. So I would eat the 1764 AND my exercise calories?

Thinking of giving this a try but with sedentary levels and the when I do exercise I will eat back to match my daily totals, if you want to keep in touch and see how each other does let me know or friend me.

No, when you choose to put active 3 times or however many times a week then it added.calories for you. For that site you don't eat back calories because it adds them. If you choose sedentary then it gives you no calories for exercise.
