does this sound right??

i did 20 min on my elliptical and heart rate monitor says i burned 207 calories right after that i did squats, jumping jacks, burpees ect for 10 min and just for those 10 min it told be that was 100 calories burned... that seems high to me.. do you think that is possible? im 5'6 142lbs... i have the sportline universal monitor how accurate do you think that could be??

That sounds about right to me. When I use my elliptical I burn between 6-10 calories a minute (depending on how much effort I put forth) and i'm 5'6" and 149 lbs. Same goes for the squats, jumping jacks, etc...depends on how much effort you put into it. If you kept your heart rate up the whole time, it could be right.0
