    I love making egg-type breakfasts! Actually.. it's more like lunch because I don't really eat breakfast/until I'm hungry anymore. I used to be a vegetarian, so often I still stick to vegetarian meals... aka eggs :-)

    I take 2 or 3 eggs and scramble them (but you could do them however you want, of course) and I also sautee some veggies in a bit of butter or olive oil, and put them with the eggs. I top the eggs with a bit of salsa and guacamole and occasionally cheese... it's so awesome and filling!

    For dinner, I recommend fish or lean meat or, if you really are trying to be vegetarian, then soy protein products, tempeh, etc. The other night I used this recipe: http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/five_spice_tilapia.html

    Easiest tilapia I've ever made... and SO delicious! It's not no-carb, due to the brown sugar... but it's really good, an easy place to start! I hope that helps!!!

  • these are some of my fav snacks:

    lettuce wrap: (pretty much what you want on a sand wich)

    lunch meat (turkey, ham)
    cheese
    tomato (im allergic so i cant)
    pickle
    onion
    light mayo or mustard
    head of lettuce

    take a piece of lettuce, putt meat on, add condiments if desired, cheese, then wrap the lettuce around and enjoy.


    Pickle wraps

    lunch meat
    cream cheese
    pickle

    lay out meat, spread cream cheese on it, add a pickle spear, wrap and eat (my personal fav)

    humas is a good low carb snack...

    string cheese

    celery and peanut butter

    atkins shakes (5carbs, 2fiber = 3net carbs)

    low carb tortilla's
    turkey meat or lean hamburger
    cheese
    lettuce
    salsa
    beans
    lite sour cream
    onion
    etc...

    alfredo (homemade) yummys: (you do have to watch the fat content on here but it is still not horrible)

    1 pint of whipping cream
    parm cheese
    broclli
    garlic
    butter
    meat (chicken, brauts, sausage, turkey burger, shrimp..etc

    cook meat,
    in seperate pan, Put 2-3tbl of butter in pan, turn it on med. stir
    slowly add whipping cream after butter melts
    bring to a boil, while stiring
    turn it back to med
    add pram cheese slowly while stirring
    add ingrediants to taste (garlic, italian season, pepper, etc..)
    stir
    stir
    stir
    add meat,
    stir
    stir
    if not thicken add more cheese
    stir
    stir
    put on low
    cook brocilli
    dont stir let stand 10min
    put broc on plate
    spoon sauce wiht meat of broc!! Yumm

    i have many more like:

    curry chicken and broc
    stuffed chicken
    stuffed mushrooms
    coleslaw
    stir fry

    getting to late to think, ill try and write more tomorow if you need more....
    good job on eating right, losing weight is thee best thing i have dedicated to myself. dont loose faith...
