Good information. To me it is more a matter of physics and good sense. Concentrate on eating, exercising and acting healthy in your day to day life and everything else will fall into place. Eventually.

I had to get to the point where my doctors were asking to be paid up front, in cash, cause they weren't sure I'd make it back to my car. I made Homer Simpson look like Tony Horton. Now I am a little better and I may even get to see my grand kids grow up.

You find what works for you, just remember, short term solutions to long term issues always fail and usually make things worse. Keep your eyes on the prize.

    How long did it take you to lose your first 10lbs?

    Probably took a couple of months. I set a goal of about a pound a week and have more or less stuck with that. The first thing I did was cut out alcohol for about three months and that helped a lot. I didn't find this site until I'd already lost about 15 pounds.
