Hi - just joined MFP, looking got get into shape (properly this time) and see a difference hopefully in the next couple of months. Not happy at my current weight and don't want to ignore it any longer :-)

Currently trying to spin 5 days per weeks (with a short jog on treadmill after, want to build up stamina slowly) and 30DS every day. I'm quite used to spinning as used to do it quite regularly until I went on Holiday & had a months break from the gym and put lots & lots of indulgence weight on!

Anyway just wanted to say hello & look for abit of motivated whilst I was at it!

Thanks for reading!

you are hard core, my friend. Do not know how you do spin five days a week. i try to get at least one in a week, it really helps slim my outer thighs. I also do shred. I do it everyday as well. I am on day 28, and will do the video 3 days a week when I'm done, level 1,2, and 3, 3 days a week. :D Keep it up. You'll do great

    Welcome!

Love spinning and I'm also a 30DS veteran.

Spin 5 days a week! That is a lot! At best I do 3x a week plus 2 days of strength training and that's enough to keep me sore all week! Don't overexert yourself this early on because you don't want to burn out. Maybe try doing spin 2 - 3x a week then build up to it?

Good luck though and hope you'll like Jillian's evil ways!

Thanks - I've done 30DS for months on and off and never finished it- so making it my mission now! How much weight/inches have you lost on shred so far?
I'm punishing myself so that if I miss a day I've got to do it twice the next day.. I just have to get my head round the fact that I won't give up this time

I lost 10.6lb when I did Shred and that was before I incorporated spinning.

I think my problem is feeling complacent after loosing then gaining massively by just eating healthy but incorporating carbs - if I lost 10pound by the end of the month I'd be very happy!
