    i'm nursing a 2 year old, and only now have i been able to lose. i've pretty much stopped worrying about protecting my milk supply, because at 2, he doesnt need me for his nutrition. bm has many other benefits, but he doesnt "need" my milk anymore, and i need to wean him for my own sanity. so if my weight loss efforts kill my milk supply thats ok with me lol.

    he's the first of the three that i've breastfed, so i cant say what will happen hen he does wean. right now he's nursing about 3x a day., usually at night. (yay for me)
