Advice needed

Hello fellow MFPal's,
I am needing advice for my future sister in-law...She's getting married in August, and has her wedding dress fitting/alterations in 10 days. She informed me last night that she has gained 10 lbs since she bought the dress, so needless to say she needs to lose 10 lbs in 10 days. Her outlook on this is eat as little as she can get by with, which sounds like it's around 500 calories a day or less. I told her she shouldn't eat less than 1200 a day, that she isn't getting the proper nutrition and putting her body into starvation mode. But she was saying her body never does that, I wasn't going to argue with her on that. I asked her how much is she exercising, and she says she isn't ,she's too exhausted at the end of her work day, (duh she isn't getting the energy from food that she needs...plus she works with mentally challenged kids, which I can understand her exhaustion in that area) I told her last night, that it might not sound like it, but if you work out it'll help with her stress levels and after a while she'll have more energy, but she'd need to eat more food. I suggested her working out in the morning, but she says she can't get up that early (she wakes up with her fiance at 5:30 goes back to sleep and gets up at 6:45 and doesn't have to be to work until 9 I believe). She just keeps coming up with excuses. She has a gym membership too, but doesn't want to go alone, she's afraid others will critizes her, yet she'll go with others. I suggested Hot Yoga (my cousin has a studio), but she doesn't want to go to that, because my cousin is smokin hot, she'd feel awkward even though she knows her, and it's too far from her house (15 min drive, not long to me) There is one close to her house, she might try. I personally am not comfortable going to gym's but I am willing to leave my comfort zone (I work out at home) and go to the gym with her, if she starts to eat more....I'm going to suggest that maybe she can reschedule her dress fitting so she has more time, because I don't think losing 1 lbs a day is very healthy, but I could very well be wrong. Does any one have any suggestions I can give her or encourage her with, besides what I have already told her? I really want to help her, but with all her excuses she keeps coming up with it's hard. I would appreciate anyones thoughts!!!!!! Thanks and have a fabulous day!!!!
