Well I am 24 and i spend EVERY night alone in my house. I never go out and very rarely talk to anyone after I leave work. I spend every Friday and Saturday alone....it sucks!

So I gave in and had a beer- two nights in a row....oh yeah don't like drinking alone lol guess depression has really set in.
Yep, drinking while at home is the only way to go, don't have to worry about driving and you know right where the bathroom is

But I miss that. I used to go out literally EVERY night of the week. I used to have so much fun! I was always dancing and moving around and I could out drink any guy you put in front of me. I had friends, things to do...and I wasn't drinking alone and feeling sorry for myself.... blah :grumble:
I've never really been the go out person, I was always the driver. Now I'm the mom at home who really is thinking about the bottle of wine in the fridge, How many calories is a whole bottle?????

Old? Not only NO, but he** NO! Just got back home after spending the afternoon looking at a few new gyms (our old membership is up) and then we drove to Idaho (about an hour drive) for dinner at Red Lobster. It is only 10:30 out time, so considering going out dancing. (That is if my hubby can stand it) or to a movie....

I can't imagine feeling old - I was always taught: that you are only as old as you allow yourself to feel.

After having kids (and I have 4 from age 9 to age 20), it is important to keep ourselves energetic and out there having fun and playing.

Go out, have fun, enjoy life -- it is too short as it is

Thanking God for my rowdy grandkids right now. and for letting me find this great site and meet such wonderful people. I haven't been out in years and actually have no desire to. I have social anxiety disorder so getting me to the grocery store takes a sedative.

Honey with the prices these days, we ALL need a sedative to go to the grocery store! :flowerforyou:

(but on a serious note, good for you for going at all. Mom stayed in the house for 6 yrs, so I know how hard that must be. God bless you!)
