why do i do it??

I workout for 3 or 4 days in a row and manage to keep within my calories, all is going well, I am motivated etc. But then i find myself standing in the kitchen eating one thing after another without even thinking what I am doing!! why do i do it to myself? After all that hard work, I eat back all my exercise calories plus enough extra calories to ruin my day! doing that once every few days I will never get anywhere....how do i stop myself? Does anyone else find themselves doing the same thing? Its driving me crazy! any advice would be great!
