Sodium Question

I ate way too much sodium last night, and this morning I was so puffy I almost couldn't get my rings off. So my question is how long should it take to flush it out of my system? I've been drinking extra water all day to help, but I'm still puffy.

Drink LOTS of fluids, and it will take a few days.

Put some lemon slices in your water glass - that always seems to help me not feel so "puffy" but I do spend a good portion of my day expelling that dang sodium when I drink lemon water. LOL

Potassium helps offset the effects of sodium. So load up on it today!

What food are high in potassium, other than bananas? I really don't like them!!!

Potatoes, raisins, canteloupe, spinach, oranges and orange juice to name a few. Google a list to find something you like. Ideally, you would want the extra potassium on the same day of the excess sodium, but it should still have some effect today.
