I have mine set to sedentary.. I have a desk job. Some days im there 8hours, sometimes only 1 hour. I do sit alot (movies, at work, while eating, etc).
and know that the lightly active description says if you stand alot; which i dont; but just wondering...
I move ALOT more than I did before; I drink 20cups of water a day usually, and im up and down using the bathroom alot more. Im constantly going back and forth from my house to my boyfriends house (getting in and out of car, walking to front door, etc), and my boyfriends house has animals, so im always getting up saying "do the dogs need water" do they need to go outside, the chickens need fed, I want to go visit my rabbit.. I clean his house and mine, doing dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, etc at both houses. While we are sitting watching tv, i might get up 5x to refill my waterbottle that only holds 2 cups. While I work a desk job, its at a house (not my own), so i might get up and go look through the fridge, or go outside to get the crew schedules, and usually stand up at least every half an hour moving about the house. I also turn on the music in the car and usually move around to the tunes , etc.
I want my calories to be accurate; should I change it to be lightly active since sedentary means that its like im getting a day of rest and not doing anything? Before MFP id spend my weekends laying in bed for 2 days straight watching movies, and wouldnt get up for anythign except food and bathroom (and wastn drinking much water so didnt have to get up alot for that). I havent layed in a bed for a full day since my first week of mfp. im always up and around and helping my bf around his house.
Just wanted some advice to see what others thought.

If you're set at Sedentary, then you get to count ALL the exercise you do, including walking around at the store and cleaning (though I only count those if I break a sweat).0

Hmmm, I sweat doing just about everything!!!
Seriously though, changing your activity level to slightly active may be more accurate if you're doing those things on a daily basis. However, they become part of daily activity and you cant count them as exercise activity. It will raise you daily calorie intake if you feel you need more0
