Why do I always forget this..?

I've been "off" exercise for about a month - combination of seasonal flu and sick kids, plus a plain ol lack of enthusiasm (I'm in Australia - it's winter here!)
Today I gave myself a kick up the bum and got back out for a run.
Why do I always forget.. That I am SO much better in SO MANY ways when I exercise:
1. I sleep better. So less tired - so less carb cravings.
2. My hormones are better. Less PMT, less carb cravings! Also it helps regulate my insulin - less afternoon slump and - you guessed it - less carb cravings!
3. My skin looks better! Something to do with sweating out all those toxins.
4. I am a nicer person... less PMT, I feel like I did somethi9ng for myself, I have more patience with my kids and more energy.
And all of this still applies even though I dind't actually gain any weight or eat any different during my exercise "hiatus".
I think I might have to print this off and stick it to my computer screen for the next time I don't feel like going for my lunchtime run.

You have written about me lol, I feel the same way about exercise the benefits for me are what keeps me motivated not the thought of losing weight.0

I know right! Whenever I don't feel like exercising (and let's face it, most of us have bad days once in a while!) I remind myself of the following two points:
I never regret going. I usually regret not going.
I always feel better for going once I'm there, and have started, and even better when I've finished -ESPECIALLY if I've really had to drag myself there!0
