mens cologne question for everyone

i think it really depends on the person, different scents react differently on people. my boyfriend wears some armani cologne, it smells great, not sure what its called exactly, but it's not too over powering.
i know for me personally when i wear perfume certain ones that smell beautiful on others aren't even noticeable on me , there was one that i didn't even like at first but once i put it on it smelled amazing.
so i think its more trial and error, if you have one that gets a lot of compliments thats the one to go with0 -
I'm a big "smell" person, so the first thing I notice about a man is the way he smells...good or bad. And there is nothing worse than a man reeking of a cheap cologne. My favorite scents are:
Joop
Issey Miyake
Unforgivable
Dolce & Gabana
Cool Water
Burberry
Jean Paul Gaultier0 -
Anything but Brut and Old Spice. lol
I remember when I was young, every time we smelt someone wearing Brut we would say "you smell like fish you big Brut!"
Maybe it's was a Canadian, small town thing but it was funny!
  Well, everyone will probably think I'm crazy but I actually love the smell of Brut and Old Spice. When I was a kid my dad wore Old Spice and I just loved how he smelled. Then several years ago when I met my boyfriend (he's now passed away ) he wore Brut and I just loved the smell of it. After he passed away I bought a bottle of Brut cologne and sometimes I'll put some on before I go to bed just so I can smell it. Ok maybe I'm crazy and the only one who loves the smell of either of those but I don't care. I know I'm crazy.
Oh man I'm sorry (need "foot in mouth" smiley). You have ever right to love those scents cuz they bring back beautiful
memories. :flowerforyou:
My issues with these colognes is that my dad used to spray his on after he used the washroom. Need I say more? :noway: :flowerforyou:0 -
I always had success with my CK One.
My hubby wears that and I also purchased Polo for him. I think it was like Polo Black something or the other. He has more colognes than I have perfumes and fancy lotions! But the key to any cologne wearer is that less is more. Every time. Axe reminds me of High School and all the boys you could smell from a mile away. Stick with a good cologne, one that compliments your natural scent, and you're golden.

Also Polo lover! Hugo Boss is nice as well - I just adore anything that has sandlewood under notes to it....
If you go to Macy's and ask one of the sales ladies for some guidance - they will be glad to show you around and explain the different scents and help you find one that fits you (they love doing this!) You should be able to get a nice scent for $60-80-ish and will last you quite a while.0 -

It depends on your bodys chemistry with the scent. I adore the smell of "Usher" but its expensive. My BF sometimes dons fire and ice and it works on him really really well....0
