My goal for today was max out calories (or be really close) by eating only natural foods. I preentered everything. Its only 8 45am, I haven't eaten anything... can someone look at my diary today and tell me if im eating clean/natural...? Im just confused... I have milk, cottage cheese, feta cheese, and chicken; those r the questionable items to me.

I think you are close to eating clean if you aren't already.0

Those are all ok if you are trying to eat clean, just make sure if not now in the future to buy organic for these items. Frend request is on its way! :flowerforyou:0

looks pretty good to me, I didn't see protein amounts in there but I saw plenty of meet and dairy so that's probably fine. I'd be careful with the amount of fruit though, especially the juice, while fruit sugar is no where near as bad, it can still be problematic if you go crazy, maybe replace the juice with some berries (raspberries or blueberries or something), which have far lower sugar per serving than most fruit juices.0

A lot of this depends on how YOU define "clean." But yes, an a PP suggested, eating organic meats and dairies would definitely add to the clean factor. Some int he clean eating clan don't consider cheese "clean" since it tends to be more processed, but as a clean eater myself, I personally am ok with cheeses...mostly since I'm not going to make my own cheese anytime soon. :P0

Protein: recommended 61/ ate 93... so im over. Carbs is 185 out of 224. I struggle with sugar cuz eating just a couple fruits will put me over. ... I choose juice cuz it filled calories and was natural; and milk for same reason. I can't buy organic cuz I only have$ 200 a month for food for 2ppl.
I wanted berries, but they r so expensive; it was $5 for a pound. I got frozen blueberries but they r more for putting in cereals, wheat pancakes, or smoothies, etc...can't imagine eating as a snack lol.0 -
Why are you not tracking carbs? Watch eating out with all the sodium.0

Why are you not tracking carbs? Watch eating out with all the sodium.
Because even on days I've had 4slices of bread, rice, and a large baked potatoe, I've never went over on carbs, so I took it off my list cuz its just dumb. Its important to not go over fat, u want to stay under sodium, over potassium, and low sugar (which I can't seem to do lol)..and over fiber..so those 5things r more important to me than carbs that I've never once maxed out..
Also, when ur a phone user, like I am, it tracks everything, not just 5 categories, so I look at everything all day everyday which is exactly why I know what my carb and protein level is without mfp website tracking it.
I didn't eat out today..no idea what ur talking about... I did eat out yesterday alot but I just needed help with today. Yesterday I was stuck at work 10hrs with no food, ordered out lunch (chicken breast, salad, and steamed veggies) and for breakfast I had chinese (steamed rice with light chicken sub gum (celery, onion, bok chow, peas, water chestnuts, mushrooms, etc) because it was left over food that I didn't want to go to waste, and when I got home my bf wanted to go out so I got a chicken quesadilla (chicken/cheese) using a tsp of chipotle sauce and a large side salad using a tsp of dressing, removed the croutons. So even though I went out alot I still did pretty damb good! I also drank 27cups of water to remove the excess sodium and stuck with healthy snacks.0 -

gotcha, and yeah, you're right, berries are usually super expensive out of season (although around here, when blueberries are in season, like in a few weeks they become pretty cheap at farmers markets), so in that case, a few of the mellon varieties are very low in sugar as well and are pretty inexpensive for the amount you get.0
