Sat fat vs unsat fat?

hey, this may seem like a dumb question but I don't know much about nutrients hence the need to use this site now lol. How come mfp allows the consumption of saturated fats but there is o recommended intake of 'good' unsaturated fats? Thanks

It's basically that MFP puts a limit on saturated fats but places no limit on poly/monounsaturated fats.

Saturated fat is not unhealthy for you assuming your calories are in check.
It's a myth, much like the myth that spawned a few decades back that demonized dietary fat. The idea that dietary fat, including saturated fat, is inherently bad came from poorly done correlational studies.
Don't worry about saturated fat.0
