Family Fun-Homemade Ice Cream
http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/homemade-ice-cream-in-a-bag-684806/

Add one scoop of protein powder in a small bag per 4-8 ounces of liquid(whatever the directions on your bottle say)

My protein says one scoop per 8 ounces

So in a bowl I mixed:
1 scoop protein powder
1/4 cup half and half
1/4 cup egg beaters
1/2 cup carb countdown milk

then I put that in the small bag, and shook in in the large bag with the ice and salt.
5 minutes later I had low carb/high protein ice cream!
My first try was very good, but I am working on making it better before it becomes an official Spike84 recipe.

Nice, I will give that a try. I would love to have me some Ice cream. I think I am going to add truvia and sub half/half and count down milk with unsweetened almond milk. Wonder if that would work good.

I like your idea. I've made this type of ice cream before. I notice a complete lack of any sweetener. How about a little optional Splenda for the sweet tooth?

It really depends on the protein, mine was very sweet. I used my polypept-ICE that has stevia in it.

I'm looking for other tasty protein powders that will make good ice cream flavors.
