My legs have never hurt so much. I think it's because of the squats i did in a new exercise class. I can just about climb the stairs but the worst pain is when coming down the stairs. Any suggestions on relief?

Stretching. Light exercise to warm the muscle up and work the stiffness and soreness from them. Drink extra water.0

I take calcium-magnesium supplements and it seems to help. Good luck!0

For leg pain, especially after squats/lunges, spend some time on an exercise bike. Just a light resistance will do--enough so you are working a bit, but not too hard. Just doing 20 or 30 min of movement will help the pain.
Keep doing the squats/lunges too. After awhile, it will not leave you walking funny the next day.0 -
Definitely do lots of stretches.0

When starting new exercises I know I'm going to be sore from I take Glutamine and a BCAA tablet. These suppliments help your muscles repair more quickly eliminating the soreness.0
