    yes, MFP sets the automatic allowance for protein really really low! so dont worry about going over - i have actually increased my allowance manually

    Yes it is. Unlike carbs the body doesn't store excess protein as fat. And when trying to lose weight it is important to have protein so your body isn't losing muscle due to a calorie deficit.

    As long as you are a healthy adult and you dont have any kidney or liver issues, yes - you can have more than what WFP gives you. If you're not sure - or you eat a ton of it - ask your doctor.
    I had blood work done to check liver and kidney function just to be on the safe side - I consume a lot of it.
