Now when they say "drink 8 cups of water", do they mean 8 cups (like using a measuring cup) or literally 8 full glasses of water?

Well a cup is 8oz. So if you drink a regular 20oz bottle of water that's 2.5 cups of water (=0

Each cup represents 8oz of water....I usually fill up my 2 quart jug and that takes care of it. :drinker:0

i think they do mean 8 cups (approx 8 fl oz), so roughly about 4 regular bottled waters (ea bottled water = approx 16 fl oz)0

when the site says 8 cups of water, they mean 8 - 8 oz glasses. but that is only recommended, you can drink more if you work up a good sweat, when it's 90F + in the shade. etc.....0

They're talking about 64 fluid ounces a day.
I did some research on water consumption and there are a lot of benefits. So, recently I've been trying to drink as much water as I can. Turns out it's pretty hard. I've also noticed recently that my body, having now gotten so much, craves water all the time.
The great thing about drinking a lot of water is it's not bad for you! The more the better!0 -
Okay thanks everyone! I am anti-bottled water (because all of the plastic wasted). For now I am using a really big cup, Like one of those souvenir cups you get at a carnival and trying to figure how much of those I should drink.. lol0
