THERE IS NONE!!!! Here's the secret. Eat right and exercise!!! I was at the pool yesterday with my gf. There was a woman there reading a magazine that should NOT have been in a bikini. She told her husband she needed this magnetic belt thing that would tone the muscles in her stomach without having to do exercises. Then she says, "It's only $150. HUH??? Here's an idea....take your @$$ to the gym and do it. $150 pays for me AND my gf's gym membership for 3 months!!! I get so frustrated with all these stupid little gimmicks out there promising easy weight loss. Early morning/late night TV showing the next workout machine that tightens, tones, and rips you off all at the same time. I want to write a book when I get done with this. It will have 4 pages....really easy to read. Each page will have one word. GET...OFF...YOUR...@$$

Agreed - too many people out there want something for nothing. I've never understood how otherwise intelligent people can believe in these 'magic' weight loss solutions, especially when they've tried a few that haven't worked. Wise up, people, there's only one way to lose weight and stay healthy.

But yet they will keep selling this crap to people and it's all in the marketing. It seems like a good idea at the time when you're watching the show, but when it finally arrives at your house, the motivation is gone. So now you have a $300 clothes rack.

I get your frustrations and I agree. The secret to weightloss success is NOT in a quick fix or fad, but IS in eating healthy and being active. 15 months ago I was that person you talk of - reading every magazine and hoping that quick fix would by overweight woes. I was unhappy and unhealthy and, as a nurse, knew what i needed to do. It's the getting started part and sticking with the routine that is the hardest part. My husband's heart attack got us into action and we had no choice but to turn our lives around. Thankfully, it was a minor heart attack (and he's been given a clean bill of health), but without that life event who knows where he'd be now. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is... as frustrating as it may be to see an hear these people, try to be supportive and educate them!!! The last thing these people need is another person pointing out their flaws.

May all your future endeavors be succesful! :flowerforyou:

That is why there are so many overweight people in America! Whenever I workout I have a mantra "If it was easy, everyone could do it" A lot of people don't like to do hard work!
