Just started playing around with this app, even though I downloaded it a long time ago.

I've never been a "calorie counter." If I have wanted to lose weight, I just worked out more. Coming into this year, I ballooned up over 240 lbs, and knew I needed to drop a few of those pounds. About 3 years ago, I had gotten my weight down under 200 lbs through cycling, so I got back on the bike in February.

So far, I have lost about 20 lbs, give or take a few. But, I've plateaued. That is where I hope myfitnesspal will help. I still ride -- not quite putting 100 miles a week in, yet, but I figure if I am taking in fewer calories, then the weight will go away. So far, I have ridden about 1,400 miles in 2011. if I can get to 3,000 this year, it would be great.
