supplements? energy gels?

What should I take to make the most of my workouts ? Amino acids and what else ?

I sometimes feel like I don't have enough energy to do an hour long workout ..Should I try those energy gels?
Has anyone tried those?

    Try some B vitamins first. Great for energy.

    Just be warned that if you aren't drinking a lot of water, your pee is going to be Gatorade yellow. Kind of frightening at first, but doesn't hurt anything. Just drink more water.

    I take a super "b" complex. Its just vitamin b. It seems to help me a lot!
    Those energy gels look kinda icky!
