does anyone know if there is any difference if you work out a couple times a day versus just once.
EX: instead of doing a whole hour at once in the morning, doing 1/2hr in the morning and 1/2hr at night? or is it better to just get it in all at once? or it doesnt matter? LOL please let me know what you think. Thanks!

they used to think it was better to do it all at once, but now they've discovered its cumulative.0

While I'm not an expert - I have read several articles saying that 2 workouts are better than one for fat loss. The reasoning is that the metabolism runs at a higher rate for about an hour after you finish exercising. So twice a day gives you that extra hour of fat loss. Don't know how much truth there is to this...but I'm going to try it next week!0

it doesent matter...might as well do it at once.. unless your really strapped for time... however it is good to split up your cardio in your workout 1/2 to begin 1/2 to end.. i forget why.. but ive heard it a bit..0

Sounds like a worthwhile experiment! And we can track our success here by maintaining our specific calorie counts, weigh and exercise!0 -
I do twice a day (mainly because I get bored if I try to do it all at once and I'm less likely to do my whole time). I do about 30 mins when I first get up and 30 right when I get off work.0

Sounds good to me! We can put it to the test. One week of split up excersise and one week of all at the same time! Find out what works!0

When I had to lose weight after my first baby I did twice (even just 20 minutes each time) and It really boosted my weight loss BIG time. Now that I have to lose weight again after baby number two (and not losing the weight quickly baby is 2) I am doing it two times a day. I also think it is important to mix it up too. Sometimes I will do 15 or 20 minutes in the morning and then the remaining of the hour later and vice versa, helps keep the body guessing so doesn't get stuck in a pattern or rut.0
