Balancing Exercise Goals and Injury

Ok, so here's a good question.

I'm sort of limited in my range of motion and my stamina right now due to a few spinal surgeries I had back in December (which is where about 25lbs of me has come from). My question is, does anyone know of any class-type exercise I might be able to do that would both strengthen my spine and build my cardio stamina again? I've GOT to figure out something other than walking. And preferably something that doesn't require skin tight tiny clothes.
