I do not work on Mondays, so it is hard for me to stay away from snacking.:blushing:
I counteract that by exercizing more!

    Breakfast: Clif bar
Snack: Laughing Cow cheese with Flax Flatbread
Lunch: Veggie Buffalo Wings and vegetable soup
    Snack: Cinnamon applesauce
    Dinner: soft chicken tacos
Dessert: Trader Joe's Cafe Latte frozen bar
    Burned 510 extra calories!
    I feeling good today!

Hey there, I just joined today and found out when I joined that I had already bypassed my goal calorie intake by about 300 calories - didn't even have supper yet. Guilt ridden, I went out and mowed the lawn. Does anyone have any idea how many calories you burn push mowing the lawn?

Ooooh what was the calorie value of this lunch (minus the Snickers bar...we don't have any here to tempt me lol)? I LOVE Steak Umms but haven't really had them since I started MFP because I assumed they were bad for you...about how many calories did the whole sandwich have? I'd love to know!!!

depends on what you weigh and for how long. I'm around 195 and burn around 488 calories to mow my yard. I walk and it's about an hour, maybe a few minutes more.

Try www.caloriesperhour.com...if something isn't in the MFP exercise database and you don't have a heart rate monitor to calculate your calories burned, try that website...I think it has every activity you could imagine!

Thank you, this is all new to me. I have always just lived life and never really kept track of what it was doing in my body before. I will probably need lots of advise.

Steak-umms have 110 calories per portion (one flat frozen goodness) so my sandwich, with asparagus spears on the side and including a pat of butter, was 485 calories

breakfast: plain yogurt with sugar, and granola bar. black coffee and a donut hole.

lunch: whole wheat roll, butternut squash soup from trader joes, and raw snap peas

snack: more coffee with a little soy milk.

so i was doing pretty decent calorie-wise until i ate pretty much an entire chipotle burrito just now. luckily it was vegetarian so i don't feel as bad about it.
