Hi all,
Im on week 3 of the Rosemary Conley diet, really enjoying it & doing well so far however it is my friends hen night tomorrow.
I want to still be able to go out and enjoy it but want to stick to low calorie drinks, what are the best drinks for me to have please and cals of them?

Vodka (25ml shot) & soda & lime - approx 55 cals
Vodka (25ml shot) & diet coke/sprite - appriox 59 cals0 -
Vodka and soda water/seltzer water and a twist of lemon or lime if you fancy it! It's only 11am, but that still sounds refreshing to me!

I haven't drunk vodka since I was in my twenties but I did love it then!! Off out the weekend also guess its time to revisit vodka thanks guys0

Regardless of how many calories your alcohol beverage of choice remember that your body will cease to burn fat until it has burned off all the alcohol first.
The body will burn alcohol as its primary fuel supply once its introduced to the body.0 -
Clear spirits and diet mixers apparently the best. Try and alternate alcohol, then diet soft drink if possible (not easy out with the girls) Avoid stuff like WKD xx0

I'm not giving up my 6-8 beers a week or my coffee creamer
... Those 6-8 didnt make me fat . Those 6-8 three times a week plus the over eating that goes with drinking did as well as overeating in general. I've reduced my beer consumption to 1/3rd what it used to be. It's as low as i'll go with that pleasure. I can drink hardy and only go over my maintain by a couple hundred. (once a week).. Eating like a PIG is the other part of the weight gain equation over the last 20+ years. Have a good time once a week, and be sensible and you'll be fine. We really CAN have it all and be NOT fat even without rigorous exercise

skinny b!tches!!! Water, vodka and a splash of bar lime...70 calories! I'm a beer girl myself but if I know I'm going to have more than 2, i switch to the vodka0

I think the posts above have caught the gist of the low cal drink options: Low cal mixers
One good thing to do when you head out is to hit the dance floor.
Besides having fun - and giving your soul some tonic - you will burn off enough cals in 10 minutes (66 Cals) to counter the cals of one skinny drink !!
So get down !!!0
