Good Morning Everyone! Ok I am curious for those early risers when you first started to work out in the ealy hours how soon did your body become used to working out that early? I am thinking of going to the gym for 5:30 in the morning so I could do my 30 minutes with the Arc Trainer. And then when I am on my lunch continue with my weight traiing.

Thanks for your tips!

Not very long at all. I get up at 5am and are cycling to work by 6.15am to get there in time for 7.45 (21 miles).

It wakes me up, whilst the ride home gets rid of any stress I may have!

Your body can become used to it fairly soon although it is always a bit painful. My favourite trick on myself is to have my workout clothes right beside my bed so I put them on right away and go straight to whatever I am doing. Whether it is a run or yoga...just don't give yourself a chance to say no.
You can definitely do it and you will feel amazing all day when you work out in the morning!
    Good luck!

Yes - cycling to work is awesome for exactly those reasons :) Nice.

I read some reviews that you could loose some serious weight in a couple of months. Is this true?

this is a great idea! I too am trying to get use to waking up in the am to get working out in.. no excuse to what may happen in the day then PLUS you feel so good all day for doing it. Just hard to get in the pattern

I have never ever been a morning person.. But after a week or 2 of waking up at 5 and doing a good workingout at the gym, my body is completely used to it now.. I love my morning workouts and sets my mood for the day.

same here - did not take me long at all to get used to a morning workout. i get up at 4:30 and am on my elliptical by 5 every week day. it does make for better day for me!

I took me about a week. Going to bed earlier at night makes it easier too.

I'm a morning person so getting up extra early to work out is the easy part. Getting my husband to stop whining about my being in bed at an "ungodly hour" is the trick. For the record, he keeps "rockstar hours" which is to say that he often goes to bed about the time I'm getting up and often doesn't get home until almost 10:00PM...I have a job I need to show up to by 7:00AM most days so I'm in bed by 9:30 even when I don't have to get up early for the gym. We've always been on completely opposite clocks but that doesn't make it any easier.
