How big is a cup of water?

I just wondered how big a "cup" of water should be - I have a 1L bottle of mineral water to work through this afternoon, but I dont know how many cups that adds up to.

One cup = 8 oz.0

A liter is around 33 ounces, so it's about 4 cups.0

240 ML =1 cup or 8 oz
1L is 1000 ML's so that is about just under 5 cups (960 ml )

I drink 1.5 litre evian bottles of water and i filled 8 plastic water cooler cups from my bottle so i class that as my 8 and i drink more when i go to the gym and at home i drink half pints of weak squash0
