Portion of chip shop chips

On the database is a 50g Generic portion of chips at 239cals but there is also a 100g portion of chips at 237g?
Could anyone please confirm which one is correct? I have just had 100g which was approximately 12 chips from a chip shop portion that weighed 575g in total so I would assume the 100g one is more likely.

I'm quite sure the 237 seems right. I'd go for that if I were you.

I did that the same problem with cooked rice. Many different caloric amounts.

Dont think you can ever be accurate as you dont know how they were cooked etc., best guess is all you can do and usually I would pick the higher one to be safe!
