My NSV for the day

So this morning after I weighed in and had a good weigh in, I was so happy. I told myself "you can have a little cheat today because you have been so good all week" so I talked myself right into that yummy apple fritter that the gas station sells. I even drove the opposite direction of work to get it. When I got into the store, I said to myself "do you really need that apple fritter?" and I just bought a bottle of water instead and left the store without the apple fritter. I was really proud of myself!

Great job, talking yourself out of that one!

It has been my biggest problem and it sets me back time after time, thinking I deserve a special treat. I don't do sensible portions, I way overindulge, and I normally don't intend to either. I intend to have just a couple of bites, but I am a food addict.

    Thanks everyone!

PeachyKeene, you sound like me before this week. I would have some really good days and then decide one day of bad eating wont hurt me but the problem was I never went back to the healthy eating. So its better for me not to indulge at all.
