I usually log it as low impact aerobics, but the best way to get your true calorie burn is by using an HRM.

I log it as high impact aerobics since most of it is high impact (the plyos and such). When I started using my HRM my calories burned was pretty close to that too.

I picked one up @ wally world for around $25. It's probably not the most accurate out there -- but at least it asked for my age which is more than my treadmill did lol.

As for logging -- I wasn't sure about 30 DS - so I made one that says 30 DS -- Level 1. I know every one will burn calories different -- but even when I tried to put in "aerobics" I still had to change the cal to match my HRM. It looks pretty intense so I would go with the high impact -- and you might want to do a quick internet search for a calorie burned calculator where you can input your stats, the exercise, and the time and get a decent estimate.

BTW -- I think I'm getting that one next -- there's a preview for it on 30 DS and it looks AWESOME!!

Every time i use my HRM it is on average about 150 cals burned for each segment. So I would create a new exercise call it the BL Cardio Max DVD and then add the 150cals for the 15min segment. Just an idea till you get a HRM. :) Plus I love this video. It is very intense in later segments. Bob likes to kill you even in a video lol.
