Man do I love that place. Anyone else? And no, I do not work there, which is probably a very good thing for me as I'd eat myself to death! haha
I used to get a chicken burrito, pinto beans, rice, cheese, tomato salsa and corn salsa. Since I started using MFP, I have changed my usual to a chicken bowl, rice, tomato salsa and corn salsa to the tune of a very manageable 420 calories. Unloading the burrito itself, the beans and the cheese, I've managed to shed 510 calories from the meal. More than half!

I wish!!!!
There are none in WV, but I love them when I travel.0 -
Totally my addiction. Started when I was pregnant wih my son I could eat it 2-3 times a week0
-
We have Qdoba here in Michigan, but I heard it is almost the same thing. I love it but don't have it often because I always forget we have one!!0
-
I wish they would add spinach. Not that I like it, but it's pretty good for you. I can't stand lettuce, so there's no way I'm adding that in.0
-
It tastes great and its very health for you if it was not for Chipotle I am not sure how I would be able to keep this up.0

I love that place too!! I've always gone for the chicken or veggie bowl, but I used to get the chips to dip in it. Over 500 calories in the chips alone!! Bye bye delicious chips. ...0

One of my favorites, and one of a couple places in town that I can eat at and have gluten free. I get the chicken bowl, with half the rice, black beans, tomato salsa, sour cream cheese and exter lettuce, I have a few chips crunched in to it, and then I will eat half of it. Good stuff!0

I love Chipotle! I love getting their salad. Lettuce, double tomato salsa, chicken, quac, and a little hot sauce. Delicious. With all the salsa I don't need the dressing.0

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Moe's Southwestern is way more delicious than Chipotle.0

i LOVE chipotle. I eat there about 3 times a week. Get a very simple order and they don't even have to ask anymore! Burrito bow: rice, double serving of black beans, pico de gallo, and guacamole! yummmm.... and it helps me get some fiber and protein.0

LOVE Chipotle!!!
And I love that I can make some changes to my favorite foods at places and still be in the green - yay!!! At Chipotle, I get the chicken fajita bowl and the green salsa. Awesome.
I also like that places are making their nutrition info more readily available now. Jimmy Johns and Potbellys are great because I can build my own meal! No salami on any of those sandwiches - too much sodium!0 -
I love chipotle, and plan to have it for dinner tonight now that you posted this, LOL!0
-
Are the beans worth keeping out? Or are they ok to add back in? I miss the cheese a bit too, but oh well.0

You're welcome. :-)0 -
They support responsible farming and organic farming. They support small family farms.
Given that, they are one of the best fast food chains out there because meat from these type of farms is actually better for your body.
I prefer to get a burrito bowl instead of other menu items. I also skip the guac and sour cream to save on calories and save 1/2 for lunch the next day.
I wish more fast food places had good business practices like Chipotle.0 -
My boyfriend used to work there and he'd bring home a burrito a night. It used to take me about 2-3 sittings to finish it off. I'd refridgerate it, then cut off a section, add more lettuce and toss in a dressing.
Made a delicious taco salad!0 -
Love chipotle. They introduced me to Chipotle Tabasco...their food is now just a delivery method for the Tabasco...sooooo delicious on every darn thing.
Steak salad, keep the dressing, keep the rice, add pintos, steak, corn salsa and a pinch of cheese. Drench in tabasco. 400 decadent calories.0 -

Depends on the location. In New England Moe's always gets poor reviews.0 -

3Ball - I did the same. And I hate lettuce too. But I had my first "Salad" ever at 40 and it wasn't that bad. Everything else in the bowl is so good that it makes the lettuce eatable. My goal is to add a little lettuce to everything until I eat it the way I used to eat rice.0

I have some spinach at home so I should just pick one up and take it home and add the spinach myself. Same thing with work if I remember to bring any in. I've thought about doing to and adding it to the cafe steamers meals that I eat for lunch.0 -
Beans are a very good source of fiber and protein however I am sure that Chipotle's beans are probably bursting with sodium.
I love Chipotle but I don't eat it very often. Every once in awhile I'll eat a burrito as my big meal of the day.0 -
Mmm love their pico de gallo!!!! *drools*0
-
I haven't had Chipotle since I moved to Texas. *sigh* I miss it.0

Just thinking about Chipotle is making me drool! I get a bowl too, have them add TONS of lettuce to make it a sort of "salad" of sorts. I try not to have it so often as the sodium is high (as it always is when eating out), but I can never stay away for too long!0

RachVR6 - Not sure where you are in Texas, but the major cities have it. I think Lubbock even has one now.
Couldn't LIVE without Chipotle. Ate it for the first time just a few months ago and now I crave it almost daily! It's been a great way to overcome my love of greasy mexican food and allows me to count everything in it easily.
I get a bowl with rice, pintos, steak, a ridiculous amount of hot salsa that normally makes the clerk give me a funny look, and guac. I eat half there and the other half the next day. I think Chipotle may be my soul mate...0 -
Now I know what I'm having for lunch today!!! Thanks! :laugh:0

I'm East Texas....I think the closest one is a 2hr drive. Hmph0 -
What I like about Chipotle the best is that they try to use some organic and some local ingredients and support family farms in the process!0

I have 1 word for you my friend: Freebirds. It's like Chipotle, but 10 times more awesome. But be careful, you will fall in love.0
