I am currently on my way to losing a total of 211lbs. I was just wondering if anyone else is in the same place I am. Or, if anyone here has lost that much and how long it took you etc.

I have lost a total of almost 60lbs since my son was born. He is now 4 yrs old. In this time I have lost and gained numerous times. The reason for me is because I thought too far ahead. Now that I have realized that this is a journey as well as something you have to do one day at a time, which is why I love this site. Don't worry too much about how long it is going to take. Start your journey and take it day by day. Good Luck and stay strong :)

I am happy to hear from someone to lost that much in a year. That is my first goal! What did you do to lose weight? I am counting calories (about 1200-1800 a day for now), plus I am doing Zumba 3x per week and also working out 1x per week.

i didnt count cals in the begining but was just good if you know what i meen!
but cal counting does give you some idea on intake so it all helps, and ALWAYS do your exersice!!! i had 2 rules exersice and routine! stick to both you wont go wrong!! :)
at 1st i started walking just around a field once(3 times a week) then it got a little farther and little more often, and now i walk 2.2 miles EVERYDAY come rain snow or hail;! even xmas day :) and it gives you a break from the kids lol i would walk more but i cant i am waiting for a op on my hips!
make sure you have some good music on too :)
but really 2 rules routine and exersice, try to plan out your meals in advance(days),so you are on top of things it is sooooo much easier!
