I have EA active for Wii and just did the 20min cardio exercise and it kicked my butt, seriously dripping sweat. It has a HRM and says I only burned 156 calories, does that seem right?

I really like this program because it is actually pretty tough stuff(at least for me) and really makes me sweat and make my muscles sore, but should I be burning more calories, am I doing something wrong?

Does your monitor tell you whether you were in the fitness or cardio zone?

It sounds about right tbh. It's still considered low impact even though it's working you out it's not doing it at a higher burning zone.

Thats part of what I don't get, the HRM and graph said I was in the top two burning zones pretty much the whole time.

I have it and love it! It is a great workout. For the calories burned, to me it's seemed appropriate. I agree with the comment about HR being in the fitness vs cardio zone. Also take note that your workout was 20min. Some of that time was probably strength training and when I strength train my HR isn't that high (100-110s).

As you get further into the program the length of the workouts increases (up to 50-55) and your calorie burn will increase. But I got stronger and was impressed how far I came in the 9 week program. Enjoy!!
