How have your symptoms been since you started with MFP? I have been having more issues with my cysts rupturing than normal and have been feeling more dizzy.

You need to call your Doctor. Medical questions should not be answered by anyone else except you physician.

You should def call your doctor. If you are eating properly, your symptoms should actually improve over time.

Also, dizziness could be a sign of low blood pressure, low blood sugar or inadequate hydration. What have you been eating/drinking? What has your exercise routine been like?

I had my right ovary removed and a ton of cysts removed off of the left side for my pcos.... they were about 15 cm total on each side. I would really advise you to call your doctor right away. With them rupturing you have the risk of infection and blood loss. Please don't just ignore them!!

That's not cool. I'd definitely call your doctor, if not make an appointment.

To answer your initial question though, my symptoms have gotten soooooo much better since I've lost weight. I went off the pill back in December (just after Christmas), and it has been six months now of perfectly regular periods- for the first time in my life! It shocks me every month. They are SO much lighter than they were even when I was on the pill (not to mention before the pill!) and my cramps are better, too (again, even better than when I was on the pill, not to mention before!). They do last a little bit longer (about a week), but they are so light it doesn't really bother me or affect me all that much.

It has definitely been harder to lose weight now that I am off the pill, but I haven't gained any back and I have continued to lose, just slowly. I haven't noticed any difference in my hair at all.

well honestly i haven't had an ultrasound in a while and have no idea what my insides look like but i will say this... the moods changed quite a bit. i notice now that certain food effect my mentality completely. if i eat alot of carbs i get really iritable. if i eat too much sugar my crash makes me extremely depressed. i mean its a downward spiral.

sooo food effects my hormonal balance.

i am on yasmin so my periods are heavy but no longer all over the damned calendar.

My eating has been fairly regular...protein, vegetables, and fruits. When I was in Florida a couple of weeks ago, I forgot my Metformin and was having really bad pains in my right ovary (which is the one that has always been more of a pain) on and off all week. I have only had it once since then since I have been home, but I have also been taking my Metformin again. The dizziness only happens when I have been standing up every now and again. It's really weird. So I guess I will have to find money for a dr! :(

    Definitely call your doctor!

I've had nothing but great success while using MFP, but if I had symptoms like what your describing, I'd be calling the doctor first and foremost!!

    Best of luck!
