Hi everyone.. I started on Sunday, wanted to feel around before I gave my introduction.
I was always the "skinny girl", and I could eat whatever I wanted and not exercise. That is, until I started on anti-seizure medication in 2004. I wish I had read about weight gain as a side effect, but I continued to eat like a pig and not exercise, and I gained a ton of weight. I accept full responsibility for that, and now it's time to do something about it.
I also have celiac disease, which means I have to eat gluten free. That's tricky, because a lot of gluten free foods are made with extra sugar and other sneaky things to make them taste better. I'm always on the lookout for gluten free friends that like to share easy recipes and just like to complain about the diet with me!
I'm still on that medication, and two others that list weight gain as a side effect, but it's not going to bring me down anymore. The first five days have gone well for me, and this website makes it easy to stay on track. I hope I can stick to it this time!

Hi, my name is Esther. I just started yesterday with this app on my phone and just signed up for it online. I have always had weight fluctuations and it's been beyond frustrating. Three years ago I was in my first car accident and it caused me to become very injured. I just want to lose weight so I won't be in so much pain. For every pound I lose it'll be 3 pounds of stress off my back, literally. I was looking over my BMI wednesday and i am considered overweight. I am at a 26 when the normal range is 19-25. right now I have on my goals that I want to lose 7 lbs but I really want to lose 25-35 lbs. I was told that short term goals are good so i'm hoping it works. my main concern is excercise since it's difficult for me to do certain things because of my back.0
