Inaccurate Scale.. Advice pleaseee!

I have a digital scale that has always bounced up & down which I thought was my poor dieting skills. I have just read a ton of reviews on the particular scale & everyone seems to have the same problem.. Should I switch back to the trusty analog scale? I really cannot afford a new digital.

Digitals are more accurate than analog. Taylor's website says scales are only accurate to within a range of two lbs. It's industry standard of error across the board. Plus bodies naturally waver from day to day within as much as a 7 lb. range. Don't freak about the absolute exact number because you'll never get it on a home scale, no matter how much you spend. Just accept that it's very VERY close. Best you're gonna get.0

Make sure you don't use it on a carpet... I know, I know "stupid comment" - but I made that mistake a few times (was just not very careful).
The ground needs to be solid (stone, wood) and even.
Otherwise, you can always compare the numbers coming from both scales and see if the digital one is indeed jumpy.0
