Hi everyone! My husband deploys in a few and I'm going to kick up the weight-loss effort while he's gone . We've cut out the bulk of our processed food already, but I'd really like to attempt eating clean while he's gone. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips, advice or suggestions before I start this process. I'm really excited to begin! I think it'll be great for my weight-loss, but more importantly, just great for my health! Thanks in advance!

    Buy in bulk
Shop farmer's markets & produce markets.
Look for foods with less than 10 items in the ingredients list & make sure you can easily understand what each item is.

Just figure out some core staples that you'll always have stocked, and branch out from there. For me, the staples are (and I suppose some purists would consider some of these unclean):

eggs, turkey bacon, really good bread, oats, peanut butter, whey, chicken breasts, pork chops, spinach, brown rice, sweet potatoes

hmm, i really need to eat more vegetables

Thanks everyone! I've already been hunting down farmer's markets in my area to try those out. And I'll definitely be looking at those websites. I'm excited to get started!
