If there are any of you out there who would like to join me in the Insanity workout series I would love to have some people "suffering" with me.
I'm not sure how we want to set it up; but if you are familiar with Insanity or you just got the series we would start Monday with the fit test and post our results (don't be shy my numbers aren't great either - LOL) we'll then try and check in everyday with our progress, possible questions and various other things.
I look forward to getting to know some "Crazy" people!

Ok I've re-started this series again. I took the fit test yesterday and my numbers are horrible. Better than when I started working out, but I still can't do a regular push up yet! So anyone out there who feels discouraged DON'T!
I'll post my numbers later...anyone who wants to join can at anytime.0 -
Ok so Day 2 Insanity - Cardio Power & Resistance is done and whew! I had to adjust my HRM many times during this workout routine...so make sure you do yours tight if you use a chest strap otherwise you won't get an accurate rate or calorie count. I just rounded mine to 700 calories although I'm sure it was more.
Please remember to EAT...you are working out and using up energy and if you feel yourself crash (which you do a bit after the endorph high anyway) or if you feel yourself losing stamina/endurance instead of building it...EAT MORE! Don't go to McD's or anything, but add a salad or a peanut butter toast to your daily meals it's healthy and you will NEED the energy!
I'm so excited to get back on track with this that I totally forgot to do my measurements. I'm not even sure I'm doing them correctly, but I know that as long as you do them the same way each time it does show improvement. Just as an example...the first time I did Insanity after only 12 workouts I had lost five inches of my waist, 2 in. off my hips and 1 in. off my bust. I plan on having my BF help me with the measurements tonight and I hope to get them and my fit results up this week.
So this WORKS IF YOU DO IT!0 -
Ok got a bit off schedule with it, but back on track today. Just needing a little kick in the booty to go do the work out.
Promise to post numbers soon.
Weigh in today at 160.0 -
Ok well Pure Cardio kicked my butt today. I pushed too hard and got over heated...but I finished it with out having to skip over too much near the end. LOL
I was going to post my numbers today, however I seem to have misplaced or accidentally thrown away my fit test sheet (maybe a freudian thing?) So I'm going to have to re-measure everything.
Foods a lot better this week but still having a hard time kicking my salty, easy food diet I've had over the last few weeks. Fast food is addicting!0
