Does anyone have a good recommendation for a beginners tyoga DVD? I want to learn some stuff at home, and perfect my form before I start in with classes at the gym.

Thanks!

I would highly recommended The Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga! It has 3 stages and great for a beginner.

If you have cable/satallite, etc., there is a yoga program called Namaste that is pretty good. Her website is here:

I used to do it a few years ago. I would just tape them when they came on at 3 AM or some rediculous hour and then play them back as I needed. She also sells DVDs on her site. Not sure if Netflix or Blockbusters has them.

I like Bob Harper's yoga for the warrior.

However, just be careful - you talk about perfecting form - but this is hard to do on your own. If you plan to go to a studio sometime, I'd start with their beginner class because chances are if you are doing something wrong at home, you won't realize it and you'll ingrain a bad habit. A beginner class at a studio is MUCH better if form is what you are worried about.

Good point! Maybe I should check out the classes first, and then work on my own!
