Hello everyone, I actually did a quick intro last night, but i'll explain a litlle more about this.. I was trying to bulk up (put on more muscle) and was taking in 450g protein and trying for 4500-5000cal/day, but was getting sick everyday, vomiting up anything solid (sorry to groos you out) ended up leaving work early twice because I was getting dizzy after vomiting. Went to the ER and got the news. I'm a bit unusual, most like me are too messed up to doing anything, but I am still working out. So let this be a testiment to being in shape. So since I went to the hosp, my stomach feels so much better, Ive been pigging out, on the wrong things, blew up 25lbs and not muscle, Mostly bloat, (1g carb will hold 3g water in you) I have to eat the complete opposite as I have in the last 13years, low protein now. Low sodium, K, and phosphate. I'm doing too good of a job at keeping protein low, and had to add in a whey isolate shake after training at 25g. I see there are a few trainers on this board, This has been my career since 99' As well as being a LMT. The calorie counter has brought me here, My fiance uses it here for her traking and it's very easy to use. I'll asee ya around.

Hi there! End stage renal failure or, ESRD can challenge one's health drastically but with the right dietary support, you can maintain an optimum level of heath and well-being. See a dietician for the right support. There are excellent cook books for people in renal failure. Are you on any renal replacement therapy? Do you have a great web of support? Keep a positive outlook! If you were trying to bulk up,chances are you are well in tune with metabolic syndromes. So now, its control control, and yes control. Maintenance is key. The hardest thing to control are water, fluid restrictions, salt intake and giving up K+ foods. Not withstanding controlling anemia, and balancing phosphorus and calcium levels (so my patients tell me). Keep educated! Best of care and keep your chin up!!0

Thanks for the intro. I'm sorry you are going through this - very glad you are in such good shape that you are not like most with this condition! I'm guessing you are an excellent candidate for transplant and wish you all the luck! Keep us posted!0

Mostly water, maybe 3-4lbs of fat, and I believe I had a little muscular growth too, since my muscles were like sponges at the time from being in an almost catabolic state.0
