Migraine NSV

Usually, I get at least one bad migraine a month. It will last from one to three days and is incapacitating -- all I can do is lay in bed in a dark, quiet room with a cold rag on my eyes. No working through it. Out of commission!
Since I started watching what I eat and working out at the beginning of last month, I have not had a migraine. I -should- have gotten two (they are hormonally triggered so I know when they are coming) but I haven't gotten any.
If nothing else comes of this, if I don't lose any weight or inches, not getting migraines will be worth all this work!

Good for you! It's amazaing what happens when we watch what we eat. I don't get as many headaches and my sinuses are so much better, now that I'm limiting refined flour / sugar.
But I do have a migraine right now -- first one in a long time (and i did good today!)
Keep up the good work!0 -
As the same type of migraine sufferer, I just want to say congratulations! That's a HUGE NSV.0

Congratulations! Millions of people with migranes would probably consider this easy compared with suffering like that. Great job!0

I have noticed a similar result. I used to get hormonally triggered migraines every month from about age 35-37--progressively worse and worse. Then they stopped for a couple of years. Recently though, Jan./Feb of this year, they came back with a vengeance. I did a cleanse at end of Feb. then started MFP in March. March-May I have had a slight headache rather than a full blown migraine and I truly believe the change in diet and exercise is what has helped. I'm hopeful that with continued improvements in my health they will disappear completely.0

I have also noticed the same results. Since I've been watching my diet and exercising regularly over the past year, my migraine frequency has really dropped and those I do have are a lot less intense! Way to go! I hope you continue to notice that it's helping you!0
