Hi all just wanted to say hi. I'm new here and I'm glad I found this site- somewhere where I can come for motivation. I've learned a lot in the last few days reading all the posts. Ive tried quite a few diets none apart from lighter life actually really worked, however as soon as I started eating normal food again I blew up. Calorie counting I hope will be the last way of eating I try. It makes more sense to eat a variety of foods rather than to withdraw yourself totally and then go nuts after. The success stories on here are amazing I can't wait till I can add to it. Good luck all - we can do it!

    Welcome :) And you are totally correct. Eating a wide variety of foods, foods you already enjoy, just in proper portions and with a controlled caloric intake beats any "diet" its a life style change that makes everything work day by day. We all make "mastakes" or fall of the wagon here but you build a great supportive network of friends on here that keep you going :)
